Crochet Baby Sweater Cardigan FREE Pattern Megan’s Easy Crochet Baby Cardigan Free Pattern. This is an EASY Crochet Cardigan Pattern for Baby made all in one piece from the neck down. Please note: The cardigan was originally made for my nieces preemie. (I used a 3 mm hook and a DK yarn) She adored how snug it fit him, and as he grew slightly it was easy to whip up another one using a larger hook as we went. (on whichever side you decide for girl or boy create the buttonhole loops by sc, ch 3, sc in next st) Sleeves: Join yarn to center stitch at bottom on armhole, Work 8 rows of DC around. .
